1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work as expected, to remember preferences between visits, and to understand how a site is being used in aggregate. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage — work in a comparable way and are covered by the same approach below.
2. Cookies we use
We use the smallest number of cookies we sensibly can. Today, our site uses two categories:
- Strictly necessary — cookies that keep your booking session alive, remember whether you have dismissed the privacy notice, and protect form submissions from abuse. These cookies cannot be switched off because the site relies on them to function.
- Aggregate analytics — cookies that count anonymous visits and tell us which pages are read most. We use this data only in aggregate; it never identifies an individual visitor.
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, profiling or cross-site tracking.
3. Why we use them
Strictly necessary cookies make sure pages load correctly, that your member dashboard remembers you across pages, and that submitting a contact form does not accidentally double-post. The aggregate analytics cookies help us understand which masterclass pages are most useful, so we can improve copy and layout over time. We do not combine analytics data with any identifying information you have given us.
4. Third-party cookies
Where you choose to view embedded content from a third party — for example, our map provider — that third party may set its own cookies subject to its own privacy notice. We embed external content sparingly and only where it is essential to the page.
5. Your choices
When you first visit the site you will see a short privacy notice at the bottom of the screen. Dismissing the notice records that you have seen it, and only strictly necessary cookies will be set until you actively interact with any feature that requires more. You can clear your cookies and revisit the site to be shown the notice again.
6. Browser controls
All modern browsers let you view, manage and delete cookies through their settings menu. You can choose to block cookies entirely, accept them only from sites you have visited directly, or accept all cookies. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working as expected, including the live booking flow.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add, change or remove cookies on the site, we will update this page and reset the privacy notice so that returning visitors are made aware. Material changes will also be communicated to active members by email.
